Reviews and Ratings
I had such a wonderful time at this hotel. The rooms were lovely, overlooking the gardens with a fabulous bathroom and a comfortable bed. The service was top-notch, with friendly and helpful staff. The location was gorgeous, surrounded by nature and close to historical sites. Dining could be improved, but overall, it was a fantastic stay.
I was pleasantly surprised by the hotel's location, surrounded by woodland near the River Wye and Tintern Abbey. The rooms were in the process of modernization, and my stay was made even better by the proximity to the pub garden and pizza oven. The service was exceptional despite some minor hiccups, and I appreciated the effort put into making my experience pleasant.
My stay at the hotel was fantastic! The room was lovely with a huge bed overlooking the gardens and a fabulous bathroom with local products. The modern feel and comfort made my stay very enjoyable. The service was excellent, from the friendly and attentive waitstaff to the room service and housekeeping. The location was a mixed bag with some noise from children playing but the stunning surrounding area made up for it. The dining experience was mostly delicious, although some portion sizes could be bigger. Overall, a great place to stay with a few minor drawbacks.
